Save The Arctic Project

In our first year all students took part in a Greenpeace Save the Arctic project. We were to design a website that supported the campaign and help generate interest.

My website is designed to be a parallax scrolling experience. On the surface you see this huge oil rig which was hand drawn with a ballpoint pen and a ruler.

When you scroll down you uncover the devastating imagery of an oil spill in the Arctic. This was done using marbling inks - an oil based ink which floats on the surface of water similar to that of an oil spill.
